House of Tales

The House of Tales explores the exhibition and collection in a new way, featuring themes of the Colonial Past and Present, and providing a space for performance and storytelling to convey history and stories. The new exhibition at the Villa Wesendonck features the geographical zones which were showcased through objects, and shifts the focus from the objects on their colonial history and the impact of colonialism up to the present day, including voices of those affected, with a center piece space for visitor participation.
The Extension Building offers a flexible venue for storytelling, including installations, plays, readings, and performances, all connected to the theme of colonialism.
