(Out of) Context

The project consists of an artist residency as a core, standing alone. The rest of the spaces are part of a museum experience that is curated and appropriated by the residents. The objects that used to be on display leave, and a context is introduced. The project aims to give the site a contemporary relevance by giving space and opportunity to create to smaller artists. Its ambition is that this opens many new ways of thinking in an environment that is driven by capitalistic, colonial and imperialistic thinking.
